Visit of IRD Monitoring Team to Central Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA

The IRD Monitoring Team visited the Directorate of Higher Education and Directorate  General of Health Services of the Government of KPK  at 09:00 a.m. on 25th June, 2014. The team comprising Dr. Talib Hussain Sial, Director (Programs), Mr. Muhammad Ismail, Assistant Director, (A&F), IRD and Mr. Ali Tariq, Consultant/Editor, IRD. The main purpose of the visit was as follows:-

  1. To share experiences of interaction with Ulama, religious leaders/community leaders and teacher.
  2. To know the impediments/difficulties in the way of success of the program of EPI.
  3. To discuss the monitoring system and to know the impact of training of ulama and community leaders held at Islamabad from 14-18 April 2014and declaration of Islamabad of NIAG Members and eminent lama of Muslim countries.
  4. Feedback of implementing agencies (Director General, Health Services) and their general impression about the future strategy for eradication of polio.
