The Iqbal International Institute for Research and Dialogue (IRD) organized a 2-day workshop on “Iqbal Thoughts in 21st Century” for researchers, scholars and teachers of International Islamic University, Islamabad. Mr. Khurram Shafique, a renowned international scholar of Iqbal Studies was keynote speaker. He said that Iqbal set a comprehensive framework for study of social sciences and philosophy of life. He also threw light on salient features to get fluency of understanding of Iqbal’s thoughts.
Dr. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Draiweesh, President, IIUI said that Iqbal shared great legacy of thoughts and sublime message to Muslim Ummah.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mumtaz Ahmad said youth must to be trained according to Iqbal’s intellectual knowledge and approaches. He said Iqbal taught lessons of moderation, humanity and showed deep concerns for Islam
